ABOUT THE EVENT

We’re thrilled to introduce our first MUJI Community Market, to be hosted at MUJI Robson Street this October!

This weekend on October 17 and 18, Edmond and Shirley from @MovingCoffee will host a pop-up coffee counter to serve their most famous pour-over coffee and provide freshly roasted signature coffee beans to our MUJI Community!

We also have Vancouver-based French home decor @ProvenceEnCouleur on Saturday, October 17 to introduce body care items made with pure lavender oil from Southern France, and Vancouver-based flower farmer @UrbanFarmGirl on Sunday, October 18 to sell her local-grown flowers, succulents and festive decor pumpkins.

We want to invite everyone to the MUJI Community Market to support our local artists and small business partners in Vancouver, BC. Make sure to come by and say hi!

MOVING COFFEE ROASTERY

Shirley and Edmond, a husband and wife team, are co-founders of Moving Coffee Roastery, a Vancouver-based specialty coffee roaster. They are a small team, but they do every single step that matters for better quality. They believe that everyone deserves a fantastic cup of coffee to start their busy days. They began their journey sourcing specialty grade green coffee from top producing farms in different countries as a licensed Q grader since 2011 – a world-recognized certification for evaluating the quality of green, Arabica coffee.

Moving Coffee Roastery import the green coffee and process them with a meticulous but rewarding roasting cycle in Vancouver. They have created various roast profiles, sampled and cupped each profile to determine the best way to showcase the characteristics and the flavors of the coffee beans. They are the members of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) since 2017 and ranked as 2nd Place in the Canadian Brewers Cup in 2019.
