A new series of the “playing with LEGO® bricks and paper” sets has made its appearance.
They will be sold not only in Japan but also in selected overseas MUJI stores (with the exception of some products).

    植物のタネにはプロペラの様なはねをつけたものがあります。
    それを紙とレゴ®ブロックでつくってみました。
    透明紙を使っているのでくるくるまわって落ちるときとてもキレイです。

    Let’s fly it!
    There’s the seed of a plant that has wings like a propeller attached to it.
    We tried making this with paper and LEGO® bricks.
    Since we’re using transparent paper, it looks beautiful as it spins down to the ground.

    時計をつくろう
    子供が自然に時計に興味が持てるようにつくりました。
    太陽と月で昼夜が分かるような仕掛けをつくってみたり、
    3時はおやつの時間と分かるように…と
    子供がたのしめるように工夫をしています。

    Let’s make a clock.
    We’ve created this in such a way that children will naturally have an interest in clocks.
    We’ve added special touches so that children enjoy it,
    creating devices using the sun and the moon so that children know when it’s day and night,
    and also a device so that they know that it’s 3 o’clock and snack time!

    子供からお母さんへメッセージ。
    ターンテーブルパーツを使って足でボールを蹴っているように見せたり、
    文字の下に隠れた絵が出てくるような仕掛けもあります。

    Let’s relay a message.
    A message from child to mother.
    Turntable parts have been used to make it appear like a ball is being kicked,
    while there are also devices such that pictures hidden at the bottom of the writing come out.

    乗り物をつくろう
    車のタイヤやブルドーザーのアーム、
    ターンテーブルパーツを使っているので動かすことができます。
    ヒンジパーツを使って信号機もつくりました。

    Let’s make a vehicle.
    Since car tires, bulldozer arms and turntable parts are used,
    it moves. We’ve also used hinge parts to make a traffic signal.

    アドベントカレンダーを準備しよう
    クリスマスにちなんだモチーフの下にプレゼントが書かれています。
    背景紙は家にあった紙の袋。
    大きい用紙でも折るとすきなところにパンチで穴があけられます。

    Let’s prepare an advent calendar.
    Presents are drawn under the motifs associated with Christmas.
    The backgrounds are paper bags found in the home.
    Even with big pieces of paper,
    they can be folded and a punch used to punch a hole wherever you want one to be.
