Introducing our wool range…

Yak Wool

Yaks are a breed of cattle that live at high altitudes in Central Asia. The coat of yak falls off yearly between June and July. Yak wool is a more sustainable alternative to cashmere. There are two layers of the yak undercoat, outside is thicker and inside layer is similar to cashmere, thin and soft. The wool is also excellent in heat retaining.

Merino Wool

A highly versatile material shorn from the merino sheep, merino wool has proven its efficacy in regulating heat, promoting breathability and absorbency.

Reclaimed Wool

At MUJI, we like to repurpose materials to minimise wastage. Our reclaimed wool range uses recovered wool products as well as threads from shredded and reclaimed fabric to create a ‘new’ fabric which provides ultimate comfort and warmth.
