“Ikebana” Kids Workshop | MUJI Chadstone
Posted:
Hello Melbourne,
Join us for a fun Ikebana Kids Workshop at MUJI Chadstone on Thursday, 23 January 2020!
Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art form of flower arrangement. Its traditions encompass a great depth of history, cultural and spiritual awareness, and its influence extends well beyond Japan.
Through this kids’ workshop, we hope to impart such important tradition to future generations. With the support from the Ikebana International Melbourne, Chapter 29 Inc alongside MUJI Chadstone team members, children will be taught about flowers and different plant materials, about the appropriate containers (vases) to use, about placing the materials in their correct positions and how best to exhibit their work.
Along the way, we hope that children will discover great joy out of their arrangements.
