MUJI to Open Seventh Canadian Store at Scarborough Town Centre on March 10

Toronto, February 23rd, 2018 – Japanese retailer MUJI announces the opening of its seventh store in Canada. After opening two stores in British Columbia in 2017, MUJI will now open its fifth store in Ontario. Located in Scarborough Town Centre shopping mall, the store will occupy 6,860 square feet of retail space, which will make it the largest store in Ontario.
The grand opening is planned for Saturday, March 10. During the opening weekend, MUJI MAIL members will get 10% off all regular-priced merchandise! If you are not already a member, subscribe here and show your registration confirmation email at the cashier to redeem the offer.
Moreover, on Saturday and Sunday, the first 500 customers will receive a limited edition MUJI Scarborough Town Centre tote bag with a $20 or more purchase.
“By opening this store in the Scarborough area, we are taking one more step toward getting closer to our customers,” says Toru Akita, president of MUJI Canada. “We want to be near where our customers live, so it becomes more convenient for them to visit us.”

The Scarborough Town Centre store will offer MUJI Canada’s full range of merchandise: more than 4,000 items including household goods, apparel and food.
