Introducing Genuine Tea at MUJI Atrium!

Posted:

With aims to become more rooted in our local community, we opened and launched our first Toronto MUJI Coffee Counter at MUJI Atrium. Since November, we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Toronto-based specialty roasters and cafe, De Mello Palheta, allowing MUJI to contribute to improving the quality of life for all along the coffee chain, from seed to cup.

We are pleased to announce that we have extended our reach in and to the local community through our new partnership with Toronto-based tea company, Genuine Tea.

Genuine Tea was started by Sarah & Dave, adventure-inspired tea lovers and leaders of the Third Wave Tea movement, with a focus on sustainable agriculture and ethical practices. By supporting small growers, Genuine Tea is closing the gap between the tea in your cup and the people who dedicate their lives to producing it. Their direct trade approach ensures that their tea is fresh, has a transparent supply chain, and provides fair compensation for the farmers.

The MUJI Atrium Coffee Counter is pleased to serve you a warm cup of fresh tea at your next visit to the store. We are excited to present a selection of 4 specially-picked loose leaf teas ($2 for Regular, $3 for Large), as well as authentic Japanese Ceremonial Grade Matcha from Uji, Kyoto ($4 for Regular, one-size only).

Join us this weekend on April 12th to 14th in our official launch of Genuine Tea at MUJI Atrium!
