MUJI to Open Largest Store in Western Canada at Guildford Town Centre

The upcoming MUJI store at Guildford Town Centre
Toronto, July 2nd, 2019 – Japanese retailer MUJI announces that its upcoming ninth Canadian store will be located in Guildford Town Centre in Surrey, British Columbia.
After expanding to Western Canada in 2017 with its Metropolis at Metrotown location, MUJI has opened its first Canadian flagship store on Robson Street in Vancouver, followed by a store in Richmond Centre. The Guildford Town Centre location will be the largest MUJI store in British Columbia. The opening date hasn’t been confirmed and will be released at a later stage.
“By opening this store in the Surrey area, we are taking one more step toward getting closer to our customers,” says Toru Akita, president of MUJI Canada. “We want to be near where our customers live, so it becomes more convenient for them to visit us.”
With the goal of making people’s daily lives pleasant, MUJI is globally recognized for its high-quality products that are functional and well designed, but at the same time basic and reasonably priced.
The Guildford Town Centre store will offer MUJI Canada’s full range of merchandise including household goods, apparel and food, as well as services such as embroidery, digital fabric printing and more.
