[Ended]Lunar New Year Chinese Brush Painting – with Josephine Chong

February 2, 2019

Chinese brush painting has been around for thousands of years. Traditionally, the paintings are done on silk with brushes made of animal hair and different inks to capture the essence of life of a subject. Subjects can range from flowers, birds, insects to landscapes, people and animals.

In this workshop, the talented Toronto-based artist Josephine Chong will show participants how to paint their very own koi fish. This is an introductory workshop open to all skill levels!
