[Ended]Book Reading & Paper Pirate Ships with Brian Yanish
March 30, 2019MUJI Atrium invites you to our first-ever book reading event, featuring children’s book author and illustrator, Brian Yanish!
About the books Pirate Chicken: All Hens on Deck
This whimsical, funky, and newly-released book by Brian Yanish and illustrated by Jess Pauwels, turns the traditional idea of piracy on its head, showing that lady pirates, especially chicken pirates, can be just as fierce and sea-worthy as their male (or human) counterparts.
Kids will be inspired to go on a high seas adventure with their favourite feathered friend and main character of the story, Lily! The book reading will be paired with a fun and interactive workshop, where kids can make their very own paper pirate ship using Pirate Chicken origami paper, as seen in the story.
The book reading and workshop will be followed by a Q&A period and also an opportunity to have your own copy of “Pirate Chicken: All Hens on Deck” signed by Brian. Parents are welcome to have their children enjoy the book reading while shopping around the store. Please join us this Saturday for an exciting and engaging weekend afternoon, and to embark on your very own pirate adventure!
