[Ended]Art & Tea Evenings: Beginner Calligraphy with @bellasuu.creates
July 11, 2019‘Art & Tea Evenings’
We invite you to sit down with MUJI for a perfect ending to a long day, as we provide a place in-store to learn and practice the many different arts of the pen, brush, paper, and colour. Led by talented artists from our local Vancouver community, this series aims to engage our community by bringing people together in a relaxing and meditative space to enjoy an evening of art and a warm cup of MUJI tea.
Beginner Calligraphy with Annabelle Su
Join us for an introductory workshop to learn the basics of calligraphy! We will be learning about the basic strokes of calligraphy, how to control pen pressure, how to form the letters of the alphabet, and how to connect letters to form words using MUJI pens and notebooks. This one-hour beginner’s workshop will help you get started on your own calligraphy journey!
[Instructor]
Annabelle Su started her calligraphy journey in 2015, following her passion for art. Since then, she has explored and experimented different ways with watercolour brush lettering, brush pens, and pointed pens, to create calligraphy pieces. She also co-organizes a local calligraphy community (@vancouverletteringcommunity), with the goal of bringing together new friends who have the same interest.
