[Ended]Well Wishes for Back to School

August 24, 2019

Are you or someone you know getting ready for back-to-school and beginning to set intentions for the year ahead? Perhaps you’re also starting to think about a dorm room make-over or stationery shopping. Well, on August 24th at Robson Square, we’ll be hosting a public event so students, friends and family can create well wishes for the year ahead on Ema boards, which are small wooden plaques, commonly seen at Japanese shrines. In Japan, students hang wooden Ema tablets praying for success on exams, commonly using the phrase 合格祈願 (gōkaku kigan) “a prayer to pass.”

Throughout the day, we’ll also be giving away free stationery supplies, coupons and the opportunity to be entered into the grand prize draw for a room make-over with $1,000 in MUJI furniture and consultation with one of our Interior Advisors.

Make sure to drop by to check out the unique installation and to write your wishes!
