‘Art & Tea Evenings’

We invite you to sit down with MUJI for a perfect ending to a long day, as we provide a place in-store to learn and practice the many different arts of the pen, brush, paper, and colour. Led by talented artists from our local Vancouver community, this series aims to engage our community by bringing people together in a relaxing and meditative space to enjoy an evening of art and a warm cup of MUJI tea.

Beginner Calligraphy II with Annabelle Su

Join us for at MUJI Robson Street for Beginner Calligraphy Part 2! We will practice how to form the letters of the alphabet, and learn how to connect letters to form words. This one-hour brush lettering workshop is the second part of a 4-part workshop series. It is recommended for participants who have attended Part 1 and have a working knowledge of the basic strokes. We will be using MUJI pens and notebooks to create our brush lettering, and some beginner guide sheets by Vancouver-based calligrapher Annabelle of @bellasuu.creates will also be provided. We can’t wait to have you join us!

Annabelle Su started her calligraphy journey in 2015, following her passion for art. Since then, she has explored and experimented different ways with watercolour brush lettering, brush pens, and pointed pens, to create calligraphy pieces. She also co-organizes a local calligraphy community (@vancouverletteringcommunity), with the goal of bringing together new friends who have the same interest.
