[Ended]New Year Tea Ceremony with O5 Tea
January 17, 2020
Remove yourself from daily stress, and meditate with serenity and inner peace at the beginning of the new year. Noriko of O5 Tea, the Vancouver-based organic tea hunters, will take us on a tea journey exploring traditional Japanese tea culture and starting your new year with well-wishes.
The objective of the Japanese tea ceremony is to create relaxed communication between the host and her guests. During this event, Noriko will introduce a brief history of Japanese Tea Ceremony and how etiquette of serving tea builds a harmonious relationship between the guests during the ceremony. Matcha, together with traditional Japanese sweets to balance with the bitter taste of the tea, will be prepared and served during the event. Enjoy a pleasant connection with us and other guests while refreshing yourself with a cup of tea.

About O5 Tea Bar
O stands for our obsession with Origin. We travel the world building strong bonds with farmers and sourcing rare tea from remote villages. We want your cup to tell the story of the earth on which the tea grew and the hands that lovingly harvested each leaf. FIVE represents Nature’s elements: Earth, Water, Wind, Fire and the Void. In harmony, these elements express tea leaves into an outstanding cup. Welcome to our tea bar! We see it as a space to host friends, share and experiment.
