[Ended]Chinese Brush Painting with Josephine Chong

February 8, 2020

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with an art form that has been around for thousands of years: Chinese brush painting! Traditionally, the paintings are done on silk with brushes made of animal hair and different inks to capture the essence of life of a subject. Subjects can range from flowers, birds, insects to landscapes, people and animals.

In this workshop, the talented Toronto-based artist Josephine Chong will show participants how to paint their very own koi fish. This is an introductory workshop open to all skill levels!
