[Ended]Art & Tea Evenings: Paint with @dasilvaliningco – Watercolour Basics
February 26, 2020
Paint with Alysha da Silva – Watercolour Basics
The basics of watercolours start from colour mixing and techniques. Come join @dasilvaliningco and learn how to create multiple colours by using only the primary colours. We will be creating a colour chart so that participants have a reference tool when needing to mix colours in the future!
‘Art & Tea Evenings’
We invite you to sit down with MUJI for a perfect ending to a long day. We’ll provide a place in-store to express yourself through colour and design, or learn something new in practicing many different art forms, from watercolour painting to embroidery. Led by talented artists from our local Vancouver community, this series aims to engage our community by bringing people together in a relaxing and meditative space to enjoy an evening of art and a warm cup of tea.
[Instructor]
Alysha da Silva started her creative journey a few years ago, finding comfort in the elegance of brush lettering. As time went on, she started adding watercolour to her work and wanted to delve into exploring watercolours some more. Florals are her go-to, but she loves experimenting with landscapes and urban sketching as well. Painting is her creative release from the busyness of life!
