About Moving Coffee Roastery

Shirley and Edmond, a husband and wife team, are co-founders of Moving Coffee Roastery, a Vancouver-based specialty coffee roaster. They are a small team, but they do every single step that matters for better quality. They believe that everyone deserves a fantastic cup of coffee to start their busy days. They began their journey sourcing specialty grade green coffee from top producing farms in different countries as a licensed Q grader since 2011 – a world-recognized certification for evaluating the quality of green, Arabica coffee.

Moving Coffee Roastery import the green coffee and process them with a meticulous but rewarding roasting cycle at their little coffee bar located in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. They have created various roast profiles, sampled and cupped each profile to determine the best way to showcase the characteristics and the flavors of the coffee beans. They are the members of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) since 2017 and ranked as 2nd Place in the Canadian Brewers Cup in 2019.
