［Ended］[Virtual Workshop] DIY Leather Bookmark & Keychain with Aeon Leather Studio

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us in a 60-minute virtual leather workshop hosted by Vancouver-based leather artisan Alex (@aeonleatherstudio) to make a minimalist-style leather bookmark and keychain. It will be a great DIY gift for yourself or your family and friends these holidays.

In this beginner session, you will learn how to sew and dye leather.

Participants can purchase a DIY Kit from Aeon Leather Studio here. We encourage you to place your order before November 30^th, to guarantee your shipment arrives before the workshop. The DIY Kit includes:

• 2x beige leather pieces
• 1x black leather piece
• 1x leather dyeing oil (choose red or brown)
• 1x dyeing wool ball
• 1x needle
• 1x waxed thread
• 1x keyring

You’ll learn how to:

• Use the leather tools
• Dye leather with dyeing oil
• Sew leather
• Make bookmark and keychain

You’ll also need some additional tools:

• A small scissor
• A lighter
• A small plate for leather dyeing oil

If you don’t purchase a DIY Kit from Aeon Leather Studio, we recommend you get all of the required materials and tools at Tandy Leather or any local leather supply store near you. You will also need to download the bookmark and keychain patterns and pre-cut the leather pieces before our workshop begins.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

This event will be hosted on Zoom.

The event will start at the announced time and last about 60 minutes.
