Nacre Collective

Nacre Collective is a jewelry brand based out of the Kitsilano neighbourhood in Vancouver. Inspired by the West Coast Ocean, Nacre Collective’s goal is to design elegant minimalist pieces that are timeless and affordable. Mala the Brand

Mala the Brand

My name is Melody and I am the founder behind Mala the Brand, a soy candle company whose mission is to create the best smelling eco-friendly and clean burning candles, without compromising on quality or the environment. What inspired the creation of Mala, started back in 2016 with a local candle maker that I met in Milos, Greece when I was studying abroad, and it was there I learned and fell in love with the process of candle making. In the weeks that followed, I uncovered many ugly truths about the candle industry: Many mass-produced candles today are actually made from paraffin wax (carcinogenic), lead dipped wicks, and phthalate filled fragrances. Instead, we use the safe ingredients of biodegradable soy wax, lead free wood wicks, and toxic free fragrances, as well as minimal, earth friendly packaging.

One Thing Lockets

One Thing Lockets

One Thing Message Lockets is team of 4 local women with a mission to help fight mental and physical isolation! You can keep the message if it resonates with you or write your own little encouragement and keep it in the locket as a reminder! People also love to gift a little encouragement to someone who needs a little love. Whatever you do with your One Thing Locket, the point is to help you feel more connected to yourself and those around you because of the message in your locket, knowing that you’re never alone. Passionate about bringing people together, One Thing Message Lockets is a Social Enterprise that gives back to Postpartum Depression help and other isolated communities in Canada.

Zorza

Zorza Bathing Goods

ZORZA offers bath & self-care products handmade with lots of love here in Vancouver, BC. Soft-on-skin as tested by the maker herself, who has been ‘blessed’ with sensitive skin. Started in January 2021 by a Polish girl named Zuzanna (hello!) who somehow found herself living in Canada. What ZORZA is aiming to represent with its brand & products is the inspiration drawn from the sea breeze of Vancouver beaches, alongside my own Slavic ethnicity. ‘Zorza’ means aurora/afterglow in Polish and it’s also the name of two mythical Slavic goddesses of morning & evening stars ー all of this is reflected in our ZORZA logo. At the MUJI Community Market you’ll be able to find our range of handmade bath bombs, shower steamers and lotion bars to up your self-care game and tantalize your senses.
