[Ended]MUJI to GO – The Carry-On Challenge Workshop

Saturday, December 16, 2017

Going away for the Holidays? Whether you’re leaving for a weekend or for two weeks, it’s possible to travel with only a carry-on suitcase… if you pack efficiently!

For MUJI Robson Street’s very first workshop, we partnered with Marina Ramalho, organizing consultant and frequent traveler, who will show participants how to pack (and what to bring) in order to travel light… and worry-free!

Marina Ramalho is the founder of Joy of Less Consulting. The company helps people to simplify their life through teaching mindful home organizing and consumption practices.

In August 2016 in New York City, Marina joined the first-ever cohort of non-Japanese trainees in the KonMari Method. The KonMari Method is based on Japanese author Marie Kondo’s best selling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. The book details a system known as the KonMari Method which provides a step-by-step process to liberate yourself from accumulation.

In November 2016, Marina became the first in Canada and second ever certified KonMari Consultant outside of Japan.

Marina is also an avid traveler for work and pleasure. In 2017, her work as an international student recruiter brought her to 12 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
