[Ended]Canada Day Workshop – Traditional Paper Fan Decorating
June 30 - July 2, 2018Happy Canada Day! This weekend, join us to celebrate Canada’s 151st birthday with a unique activity!
To celebrate Canada’s special day, we invite you to decorate your own paper uchiwa using MUJI stationery!
What is an uchiwa?
An uchiwa is a traditional Japanese fan widely used during summer. Whether it’s made of plastic and given away in the street as advertisement, or made of paper and bamboo and finely decorated, it’s always part of Japan’s various summer festivals and celebrations.
Participants will be able to take home their uchiwa and use it as a decoration or as a fan to keep cool on hot days!
