This convenient service allows customers to choose their favourite taste and preferred serving size and enjoy the original flavour of tea and rice in the freshest state.

    Using Ryukyu Black Tea, Assam Black Tea, Hojicha and Rooibos Tea as base, with the theme of "Relax" and "Refresh" catering to the needs of city dwellers, 16 types of blended tea are created by our experienced tea specialist for morning time, meal time, tea time, and night time. Selected tea bags are also available for convenient enjoyment at any time.

    Ryukyu Black TeaWith Ceylon leaves from Sri Lanka as base and added with Ryukyu Black Tea. Dark brown in color and gives a crisp and refreshing taste. Can be served hot or cold bringing out the flavour of meals. Assam Black TeaA blend of Okinawa and Indian Black Tea, giving a strong and lasting flavour with a mellow hint of malt. Suitable for serving with milk.
    Rooibos TeaUsing fermented organic rooibos tea leaves with enhanced blending technology, giving a delicate tasting note. Caffeine-free, suitable for drinking before sleep. HojichaRoasted Green Tea under traditional method, giving an amber color after brewed. Gives a delicate flavour with nutty aftertaste.
    Earl Grey TeaWith Ryukyu Black Tea and Chinese Chimen Black Tea as base, and infused with bergamot for a light and citrus flavour.
  • MUJI carefully considers the natural environment such as the soil and climate of the place of origin, and pays attention to the cultivation method at the same time. We choose the varieties that are grown as naturally as possible. Selected varieties from Hokkaido, Yamagata Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture, with choices of white rice, 50% polished rice, and brown rice, are available.

    To maintain freshness, brown rice is firstly shipped to Hong Kong to protect the rice grains from air acidification, reduce water loss and keep the taste in good condition, and polishing process is carried out locally to keep the rice grains aromatic and delicious. Available in pre-packaged rice and loose rice.

    Hokkaido Nanatsuboshi

    Classified as Japanese "Special A" rice. The fields are irrigated with creeks rich in natural minerals and derived from Niseko volcanic group, bringing sufficient nutrients to the soil. This variety of rice has a light and crispy taste, and a right balance of sweetness, stickiness, and glossiness.Suitable for making sushi, rice balls, donburi or mix with curry. Available in white rice, 50% polished rice, and brown rice.

    Hokkaido Yumepirika

    Classified as Japanese "Special A" rice. The rice field is sprinkled with rice bran after harvesting, providing abundant nutrients due to the fermentation. The rice is glossy, rich in stickiness and sweetness with moderate texture and rich aroma. Goes with meat or bento.Available in white rice and brown rice.

    Yamagata Tsuyahime

    Classified as Japanese "Special A" rice, the special organic cultivation method and the clear water of Shonai Plain give the rice grain a glossy finish and solid texture. It is sweet and chewy, suitable for matching with Japanese cuisine or seafood.

    Nagano Koshihikari

    Classified as Japanese "Special A" rice, the rice is planted from compost made of rice straw, chaff and rice bran. With the natural decomposition of micro organisms, less pesticides can be used, making the rice grains round and robust, with high level of sweetness and stickiness. Matches well with grilled meat or beef. Available in white rice, 50% polished rice, and brown rice.

    Nagano Kamiakari

    Produced in rice-growing highlands at 800 meters above sea level. The significant difference in diurnal temperature and water rich in mineral provides good natural cultivation conditions. Natural cultivating method is used. The germ is 3 times larger than ordinary rice, and therefore contains high nutritional value and gives out corn-like aroma.

    16 Grain Rice

    A mixture of 16 types of grains from Japan's domestic agriculture including wheat, red rice, and black rice, with minimal or no pesticides used. Simply cook together with white rice and no soaking is needed. Sweet, chewy and rich in dietary fibre, vitamins, and minerals, giving a right balance of nutritional value and taste.
