In the past, people would redye or repair old clothes to extend their lifespan. This mindset of cherishing items has been a traditional virtue since ancient times. Inspired by this spirit, "ReMUJI" is dedicated to upcycling items that have completed their original mission, allowing them to regain their value. Items that leave one person's hands can re-enter another's life. We pursue a "just right" cycle – no waste, no shortage, perfectly balanced – making life more fulfilling.

At MUJI, we collect customers' clothes from our stores, sort each piece by hand, and then reuse or donate them.

現誠邀各位一直喜愛無印良品的顧客，參與無印良品服飾回收計劃，讓我們以自然藍染或剪裁拼接，為回收衣物賦予全新色彩，延續生命，一起思考和珍惜每件衣物的價值。

※如回收的衣物無法再造，均會捐贈予慈善機構。

準備可回收的無印良品衣物
  ‧包括MUJI Labo、IDÉE
  ‧牛仔布衣物、任何顏色或有圖案的衣物
  ‧物料為棉、麻或人造纖維少於20%的衣物
  ‧內衣、襪鞋、服飾配件 (如披肩、帽、袋)、羽絨、皮革除外
請攜同已清洗乾淨的衣物到指定店舖內的回收箱。
使用狀態良好、沒有明顯污漬或破損的回收衣物將被選取進行染製。
成為獨一無二的手工藝服飾於指定店舖重新發售。

※如回收的衣物無法再造，均會捐贈予慈善機構。

The Process from Collection to Recycling

以永續發展為前提，實踐簡約可持續生活。無印良品ReMUJI與「Dyelicious 染樂工房」合作，回收舊衣物以天然藍染方式重新染製，減少資源浪費，並推廣再利用和資源循環再生的理念。

ReMUJI Product Series

To promote the concept of resource upcycling, MUJI (Hong Kong) launched a clothing recycling initiative in 2023 and partnered with local businesses to introduce the "ReMUJI" series. This includes the "Redyed" series, where recycled old clothes are redyed; and the "Remade" series, made from old clothes and surplus fabric materials. By giving old clothes new life, we hope to encourage users to reflect together on the values of sustainable development, treat the Earth kindly, reduce waste, and cherish every piece of clothing.

To ensure every customer can find items they like, ReMUJI products are not distinguished by gender or size. Through recycling, processing, and transformation, we infuse these old clothes with new vitality – each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

ReMUJI is available at MUJI Windsor House and Mira Place stores.

As these are second-hand goods, all items are unique. Please note: No returns or exchanges.

Redyed

Inheriting Hong Kong's textile dyeing techniques, we hand-dye recycled MUJI clothing with fresh new colours, giving them a second life. Blending local traditional craftsmanship, we cherish old items and showcase the value of sustainable cycles. Each piece is a unique story of rebirth.

Remade

After clothes and household fabric items are recycled and cleaned, material properties are considered for colour matching and design. Usable fabrics are carefully cut, reinforced, and ironed, then hand-sewn to complete each piece—ensuring durability and quality in the Remade series. Every item is one-of-a-kind, combining different patterns and materials, and passing the concept of sustainability to the next user.

We sincerely invite our valued customers who have always loved MUJI to participate in the Clothing Recycling Program. Through dyeing and patchwork, we can give a new life and colour into recycled garments. Let's think about the value of each piece of clothing and cherish it together.

‧Any coloured or with printed patterns clothing
‧Innerwear, socks, shoes, accessories (including cape, hats, bags) are excluded
‧Household fabric items
‧Duvets, pillows, bed pads, mattresses, sofas, chairs, seat cushions, cushions, mats, towels, and slippers are excluded.

藍色

參考日本自飛鳥時代將靛青染料用於服飾的做法，ReMUJI系列使用的染料均於香港種植。藍染工房以廚餘作肥料栽種出本地藍染植物，收割後製成天然的靛藍染料。

透過由選取原材料開始至完成品誕生過程，傳遞珍惜大自然，推動廢料回收，善用資源，帶出永續循環的價值。以人手方式將每件衣物逐一浸泡在染料中，經過多次反覆染製，為回收的衣物賦予全新的色彩與生命，並成為獨一無二的手工藝服飾。
