Chicken and Radish Yuzu Flavoured Hot Pot

Yuzu flavoured hot pot served with Japanese radish, cabbage and chicken for a warm and delicious taste.

Ingredients (2 servings)

Japan Yamagata Mini Radish
1/2 piece
Chicken Meat
400 grams
Chinese Cabbage
1/2 piece (about 200 grams)
Japanese Leek
1/3 piece
Japanese Yuzu
2/3 piece
Japanese Instant Dashi Powder
2 teaspoons
Salt
1/3 teaspoon
Cooking Sake
3 tablespoons
Water
700 millilitres
Potato Starch
1 tablespoon

Japan Yamagata Mini Radish (Direct Farm)

Directions (approx. 15 minutes)

  1. Add instant dashi powder, cooking sake, salt and water into the pot and cook until it boils.
  2. Cut the Chinese cabbage into 5cm and the Japanese leek into 1cm long pieces respectively, peel the Japanese radish and then cut into 2-4 pieces.
  3. Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces, combine the chicken with the starch and add into the pot.
  4. Add Chinese cabbage and Japanese leek, cover and cook for 8 minutes. Grate the radish and add into the pot.
  5. Add Japanese yuzu and cook for another 2 minutes until you can smell the yuzu scent, and enjoy.
