Opens March 1
The 21st store of MUJI Hong Kong, MUJI Pacific Place will open on March 1, 2019. The total store area comprises of 7,000 square feet. Designed in simplicity for a warm interior, MUJI Pacific Place aims to provide the busy metropolitans and residents with a sense of tranquility while shopping for daily goods.
MUJI Pacific Place eagers to position ourselves as a store that provides “Daily Aspirations” to our customers, encompassing daily garments, household and personal care items and food items, striving for convenience and comfort in diurnal living. MUJI Pacific Place also carries newly revamped MUJI LABO garments that ride on the principle of unisex functional basic wear with undreamed sophisticated details and IDÉE household items, injecting some art and fun to the day-by-day routine.
Our new shop also features a household display area under the theme of “Life for Two”. With simple designs, great functionality and versatility, the display area demonstrates effective use of just 200 square feet in constructing a living room, bedroom, dining space and wardrobe area while keeping an adequate amount of storage space. This exhibits the ideology of “Compact Life” that MUJI embraces and would love our customers to experience together. At the same time, our Interior Advisory Service serves to bring forward suggestions according to the daily needs of our customers on interior assembling, creating a personalized home environment for contentment and satisfaction.

The design of MUJI apparel focuses on the balance between functionality and comfort, making use of natural materials such as organic cotton and linen with meticulous improvements on details such as weaving methods, collars and cuffs. MUJI’s stretch jackets are water absorbent with quick dry features, making it easy to dry even after washing and rain. MUJI Labo, a “laboratory” that distances itself from trends. Revamped in Spring Summer 2019, MUJI Labo became a unisex wardrobe that overrides age and body size. “Basic colours”, “Simple Design” and “Shared Wardrobe” are all newly refurbished themes incorporated into the concept of MUJI LABO. Without the limit of colours, coordination, sex, audience and also being double-faced, MUJI Labo provides the “time and liberty” for those who holds the same belief of modesty and uniformity.

MUJI takes reference from Japan’s residential area to create storage items with standardized sizes flexible to your space. They allow our users to create a personalized storage system that speaks to the unique needs of many.

Wooden frames are strong and durable comes in choices of oak wood and walnut wood. With standardized shelving units, the cabinet can be expanded in multiple different possible combinations. Stacking shelf connections can be added to create a bookshelf, accessory shelf or simply a partition between different living spaces.
