Discover the art of gilding, a technique that harnesses the natural oxidation and corrosion of metals like gold, copper, silver, and aluminum to create stunning colors and shimmering effects. When applied to washi paper, these metals bring the material to life, giving it an almost ethereal quality.
In this workshop, you’ll explore how this innovative technique enhances the beauty of washi. Create beautiful postcards using traditional washi paper and gilding techniques, and take home your very own personalized postcard!
