Reducing Plastic Bags Wastage

Do away with single-use plastic! In our drive to reduce waste and conserving resources, we would like to encourage all customers to bring your own bags, reuse our brown paper bags or purchase from our range of reusable bags and carriers while shopping at MUJI.

Since 01 April 2021, we have ceased the issuance of  plastic shopping bags in our stores, and implemented a $0.20* charge for each paper bag request as part of our sustainability efforts to reduce waste disposal. 
*50% of the proceeds collected will be donated to a non-profitable organisation.
