A walk through a Nordic forest, in Christmas time, where snow lies heavy. When snow covers the trees like a quilt, transforming them into white sculptures it creates a special sound. It is so very quiet. All you hear is the crunching of snow underfoot. It is dusk and time to go out and search for this year’s Christmas tree.

At Re Forest, we invite you to participate in re-creating Christmas trees using MUJI’s own factory waste. Join us at Open MUJI as we engage in sustainability and explore the creation of new values by hands using remnant materials left over from production processes.

Collaborated with Studio Brieditis & Evans
Studio Brieditis & Evans works with design, craft and product development of textiles and related products. Katarina Brieditis and Katarina Evans, are based in Sweden and have been working together since 2003 with different textile design projects. In the studio they combine all their experiences in design, crafts, textile production and re-cycling.
