Helen Phelan is a pilates instructor, intuitive health coach and creator of the mindful fitness app and method, Helen Phelan Studio. Her approach to movement is rooted in mindfulness, self compassion, and the idea that building physical strength helps cultivate mental strength. A former professional dancer turned NYC fit pro- she grew tired of the same body shaming and diet culture in every boutique fitness class she took and knew there had to be a way to take care of your body and mind at the same time. She’s also a prenatal/postpartum corrective exercise specialist and reiki practitioner who has been featured in Well and Good, Huffington Post, Bustle, InStyle and more.
