MUJI The Venetian Macao

On December 16, 2022, MUJI The Venetian Macao opened with a total area of 1950 m2 – largest in Macao and Hong Kong region and first ever in Macao. With the most comprehensive merchandise assortment ranging from men’s, ladies’ and children’s wear, MUJI Labo, household goods, personal care items, food, to MUJI to GO (on-the-go essentials), the store meets the needs of every aspect of daily life.
The design concept is based on “Nature and Modern Living”. The store uses many natural materials and merchandise displays to convey MUJI’s philosophy of simplicity without excessiveness. The store has two floors—on the lower floor, natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal are used to reveal their original and processed forms; on the upper floor, artificial industrial materials such as metal plates and steel pipes are combined with natural materials to create textures, together with the open ceiling design.
The home living thematic display area gives inspirations about modern home furnishings and demonstrate the comfort and peace of mind brought by a simple, pleasant life. Simply-designed, versatile, and compatible MUJI furniture and storage items are arranged together to present the scenes of living room, dining room, and bedroom.
