MUJI Stores Business Adjustment in Second Half Year of 2024

To have better alignment of the company’s business development, some MUJI stores will be restructured in the second half year of 2024, bringing a higher quality and more diversified shopping experiences to customers. The business adjustment includes new store opening, relocation and expansion works for existing stores as to fully align with the overall development of the company.

MUJI has always prioritized the needs of our customers which places important consideration on whether the store locations are convenient for both neighboring residents and office workers to shop for their daily needs. Therefore, our stores are often located in the main living areas of customers, industrial and commercial areas to reach out to more local families and individuals, office workers and tourists. With better understanding of the needs of different groups, MUJI can further get into customers’ daily life.

The stores will follow a simple, clean with natural color tone in-store design while providing a spacious and comfortable shopping space to share the concept of MUJI, “A simple and pleasant life” with our customers. The stores will offer a wide range of daily necessities in good quality, including apparel, household goods and food, providing all-rounded solutions for the daily life of different customers.

Pacific Place is located at the prime location of the Central and Western district, Admiralty, which is surrounded by commercial buildings with many office workers. Meanwhile, it is a shopping area for tourists and local families during the weekends and holidays. The new store will include the newly added kid’s wear section and offer a wide range of daily necessities which office workers, neighboring local families and tourists can shop conveniently for their daily needs, catering to the daily life of different customers.

The renovated location is scheduled to reopen in early August of 2024 and we are looking forward to serve you with a new look soon.

The 22th MUJI store in Hong Kong, MUJI NINA MALL opens on 21 December, 2023.

As the store in the Tsuen Wan district, the new store will have a total floor area of 16,000 square feet and offer a wide selection of daily goods such as men’s, ladies’ and children’s wear, household goods, food and MUJI Green.New elements such as “MUJI CYCLE”, “ReMUJI Clothing Recycling Program” and “Below $50 Area” will be introduced to cater for truly fundamental to day-to-day life.Besides, the new store will follow a rustic, natural interior design, providing a spacious, comfortable shopping environment to share MUJI’s ideology of “a simple and pleasant life” with customers.

As a lifestyle store offering practical daily necessities, MUJI aspires to serve local customers. Therefore, proximity to customers is one of the key concerns regarding store location selection so that customers living and working in the community can conveniently shop for their daily needs. Recall Notice on Fresh Pasta – Fettuccine

According to the news released from our headquarters, Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., on 13th October 2023, the batch of Fresh Pasta – Fettuccine with an expiration date of 5th January 2024, was found to have a defective packaging issue. In consideration of customers’ safety, MUJI Japan and Hong Kong are conducting a voluntary recall and have removed the items from sales floor immediately. Customers can bring their purchased item(s) to any MUJI store in Hong Kong for refund with immediate effect.
