Recycling and Reusing
To encourage the concept of sustainability, MUJI initiates recycling and reusing resources by collecting products which are no longer needed by customers. The recycled resources are reused to produce new products while minimizing the adverse effects to our environment and cultivating the habits of being environmentally friendly from everyday life.
Recyclable Items

PLASTIC BOTTLE
Recyclable Items: Plastic bottles, bottled drinks, PE and PP storage boxes or any other plastic materials
Things to Note for Recycling Items: Please clean and dry the recycling items in advance, items which are larger than 35x35cm in sizes are excluded from recycling, please do not place in the recycling box.

PAPER
Recyclable Items: Paper made hangers and hooks from MUJI’s innerwear and miscellaneous products, any newspapers and magazines or office used paper
Things to Note for Recycling Items: Greasy, wet, or double-sided laminated paper, photographs, toilet paper, and napkins are excluded from recycling, please do not place in the recycling box.

ALUMINIUM CAN & GLASS CONTAINER
Recyclable Items: Canned drinks, fragrance bottles or other cans and glass materials
Things to Note for Recycling Items: Please clean and dry the recycling items in advance, items which are larger than 35x35cm in size are excluded from recycling, please do not place in the recycling box.

CLOTHING
Recyclable Items: Limited to MUJI’s apparel only, including MUJI Labo, IDÉE, men’s and women’s wear (In cotton, hemp or with less than 20% of artificial fibers), denim clothing and any colored or with printed patterns clothing
Things to Note for Recycling Items: Please clean and dry the clothing in advance, innerwear, socks, shoes, accessories (including cape, hats, bags), down and leather made clothing are excluded, please do not place in the recycling box.
