MUJI Tenjin Daimyo

The largest business district in Kyushu - Hakata's Tenjin Daimyo area.
On Tenjin-nishi Street, the base where information related to fashion and culture originates in that area, MUJI Tenjin Daimyo has opened as the only branch with a standalone street-level store in Kyushu.

The largest street-level store in Kyushu with suggestions ranging from clothing to lifestyle products

Muji Tenjin-Daimyo has the largest retail area in the Kyushu region, with 5 floors of complete Muji products and services for the customers to enjoy an exciting shopping experience. In particular, the clothing retail area offers a coordinated collection to give the customers easy access and selection of daily clothing essentials. Muji has created this special shopping environment that would make the customers feel as though they were relaxing at their own home. It is a new retail area where Muji encourages freedom and self-expression through clothes in our daily lives. In addition, we have a professional style advisor in our ranks, who will assist you in matters ranging from deciding a style that fits your desired image to detailed consultations about your entire wardrobe for the season. Muji continues to provide recommendations for a comfortable lifestyle as seen in our garments collection.

Complete personal services

Muji’s large-scale stores provide areas for complete personal services to cater to your specific, personal needs. This includes our Custom Tote Bag service, where customers can design the Muji My Bag by combining various shapes and mixing colors; our Made-to-Order Suit Service, where male customers can have their measurements taken to make well-fitted suits which are proudly made in Japan, our Perfume workshop where customers can blend essential oils for home and personal fragrance and our Textile Embroidery service.

Supporting a healthy, satisfying diet and lifestyle

Café&Meal MUJI has taken its first step into Kyushu through its theme “Simple Food is Delicious”. Muji recommends a deli plate, where you can choose deli items with generous amounts of seasonal vegetables. Depending on your personal preference, your combination can include different types of ingredients just in 1 meal. The same floor also has a retail area for food and kitchen supplies to support a healthy and satisfying diet and lifestyle.

Re-MUJI: A new initiative of recycling clothes

Since Japan’s ancient times, there existed traditions and techniques to treat and care for worn and faded clothes. Our ancestors dye old clothes over and fix torn areas by quilting them over.
At MUJI, we make use of this tradition from our ancestors by giving new life to old clothes. We collect old clothes, dye them over with new colors and fixing and sewing torn areas. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind products in the world, which will be sold again as limited-edition items exclusively in MUJI Tenjin-Daimyo --- a first in Japan.

Re-MUJI adopts modern dyeing techniques using chemical dyes to finish producing items with colors that you do not have to worry about losing. Muji has made it more enjoyable to choose from our selection which has 3 different hues of blue.
