MUJI Langham Place, Telford Plaza, Festival Walk & Olympian City Temporary Store Closure Notice

We have received report that our staff of MUJI Langham Place and Telford Plaza, Café&Meal MUJI Festival Walk and Olympian City are confirmed cases of COVID-19. For the safety of our customers and staff, the stores will be tentatively closed on 26th February for complete cleaning and disinfecting procedures; other specified staff will take temporary leave for compulsory quarantine or testing in accordance with the guidelines from the Centre for Health Protection, and only staff with negative result can resume work. We will continue to closely contact with the Centre for Health Protection to monitor the latest situation. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Recall Notice on Children’s Foldable Raincoat With Gusset

According to the news released from our headquarters, Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., on 29th June 2020, it is found the length of the sleeve adjusting tab (tape type) on the cuffs of Children’s Foldable Raincoat With Gusset which has been sold from 21st September 2016, to 26th June 2020, is 10 mm longer than the length requested by Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). In consideration of customers’ safety, MUJI Japan and Hong Kong are conducting a voluntary recall and have removed the items from sales floor immediately. Customers can bring their purchased item(s) to any MUJI store in Hong Kong for refund with immediate effect.

Important Announcement – Regarding Reselling of “MUJI” Products on Unauthorised Sales Channels

Recently, we have received reports that some MUJI products are displayed and offered for sales in certain online stores or retail shops. Since we are unable to confirm the source of such products, we hereby declare that:

  1. MUJI (Hong Kong) Company Limited ( hereinafter “MUJI Hong Kong”) is a subsidiary wholly owned by Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., the owner of the trademarks “無印良品” and “MUJI”. MUJI Hong Kong is the only official channel authorised to sell MUJI products in Hong Kong.
  2. Except the online sales platforms designated by MUJI Hong Kong, MUJI Hong Kong and Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. have not authorised or licensed any third party to sell MUJI products through any online platforms or retail stores in Hong Kong, or appointed any third party to perform sales activities of any kind in Hong Kong.
  3. MUJI Hong Kong makes no warranty whatsoever with respect to the products not sold by its official channel, including but not limited to its product quality and conformity to local laws and standards. MUJI Hong Kong shall have no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the use of such products.
  4. MUJI Hong Kong has the right not to provide warranty support and after-sales services to any products which are not sold by its official channels.

To protect consumers’ interest and to ensure the quality and safety of the products, it is recommended to purchase MUJI products from official channels.
