【直江津】12月28日(日) もちつき体験ふるまい餅・キャベツ即売会のお知らせ

こんにちは、無印良品 直江津です。
山はすっかり雪化粧をし、年の瀬を感じる頃となりました。
今回は、年末のイベント情報をお知らせします。

日本の伝統的な行事の一つである、もちつき体験ふるまい餅を12月28日(日)に開催します。

もちつきは、昔から地域の人々が集まり、臼と杵で餅をつく伝統的な行事です。つきたてのお餅を食べながら交流し、地域の絆を深め、正月準備や文化の伝承を楽しみます。
 
お正月に餅を食べることは、神様への感謝の意を表し、力が宿った餅から活力をいただく、という意味が込められています。
 
今回は、上越市の農業生産者さん「J・ロカフード」様による、もちつき体験(お子様体験)を行います。

また、無印良品 直江津を含め、2階テナント各店舗(カルディ・コーヒーファーム・久世福商店・クオール薬局・スターバックスコーヒー・ground.p・なおえつ良品食堂)の当日のレシートをお持ちいただいた方には、ふるまい餅をお渡しいたします。
無くなり次第終了となりますので、お早めににお越しくださいませ。

心を込めてお餅をつきますので、ぜひお誘い合わせの上、お店に遊びにいらしてくださいね。

また、もちつき体験とふるまい餅に併せまして、キャベツ等の農産品の即売会も予定しております。

愛情を込めて育てられたキャベツを農業生産者さんと直接お話しをしながら、お買い物をすることができる貴重な機会ですので、ぜひお越しくださいませ。

日本の伝統行事を体感しながら、来年の活力をお持ち帰りくださいね。

【Event Information | Mochi-tsuki, Free Mochi & Fresh Cabbage Sale】

At MUJI Naoetsu, we will be hosting a year-end event on December 28 featuring a traditional Japanese activity:
a Mochi-Pounding Experience with free freshly made mochi.

Mochi-pounding is a long-standing Japanese tradition where people gather to pound steamed rice using a wooden mallet and mortar.
Sharing freshly made mochi has long been a way to connect with the community, prepare for the New Year, and pass down cultural traditions.

In Japan, eating mochi during the New Year is believed to express gratitude to the gods and to receive strength and vitality for the year ahead.

For this event, we will be joined by local agricultural producers J・Roca Food, who will host a mochi-pounding experience for children.

In addition, customers who bring a same-day receipt from MUJI Naoetsu or any of the second-floor tenant shops
(Kaldi Coffee Farm, Kusefuku Shoten, QOL Pharmacy, Starbucks Coffee, ground.p, or Naoetsu Ryohin Shokudo)
will receive free mochi.

Please note that quantities are limited and will be available while supplies last.

We will be pounding mochi with care and heart, so please feel free to bring your family and friends and join us for this special occasion.

Along with the mochi-pounding event, we will also hold a direct sales market featuring fresh agricultural products such as cabbage.

This is a wonderful opportunity to shop while speaking directly with the local farmers who lovingly grow these vegetables.
